Copper was once in abundance in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, known as Copper Country. Current day mining is close to non-existent, except for a few small operations, producing copper as a decorative item. This copper is cut from sections of copper rich rock, where veins or crystals of copper are surrounded by quartz and natural stone that house the shiny, dense mineral. Undisturbed by the glacial movement, these pieces display the delicate wispy edges of the copper crystal, presenting beauty with a deep sense of grounded belonging. Copper has a high thermal and electrical conductivity and therefore stimulates energy flow to amplify thoughts while it grounds.
