Tekkis Ice Onyx is a Mexican calcite onyx that grew nearly clear, and the rust-colored rind is the iron-rich travertine that formed around it as the spring changed over time. Water brings it to life! As it runs across the cut faces the white turns to glass and the rind deepens to a rich rust, and with a light behind it at night the ice onyx glows like a lantern. Because every onyx forms differently, this pattern can never be repeated.
