Dragon Blood Jasper, also known as Dragonstone or Dragon Jasper, is an olive-green stone with a mixture of red coloring throughout. The green in the stone is Epidote & the red is Piemontite. It is mined in Western Australia as well as South Africa. Energetically, it opens the heart chakra to expression, strength, & enhances Chi or life force energy. This is a stone of happiness, optimism, & inner wisdom. It is known to lift spirits, bring joy, & enhance vitality. Local legend believes it to be the remains of Dragons with the green representing the skin & the red representing the blood! Dragon Stone is the perfect stone for all Chakras, but it's most commonly associated with the Heart or Root Chakra.
